How Missing-Person Records Classify Runaways
The FBI figures available here do not provide a Florida-specific count of missing-person reports involving juveniles. Nationally, among missing-person records entered into NCIC in 2025 for which the optional circumstances field was used, 94.9% were coded as runaway; the field was used for 48% of entries, according to the FBI.
