A Separate March Incident on Reseda Boulevard

On March 28, a separate physical-rescue incident unfolded at 9200 N. Reseda Boulevard, according to lafd.org. That crash involved three vehicles with no entrapment issues, but it left eight patients needing care, including two adults and three children in serious condition and three more adults in fair condition. The cause of that earlier accident was listed as unknown, and it was likewise handled by Fire Station 70 and Battalion 15 out of the Valley Bureau in Council District 12.

The March 28 incident and the October 25 physical-rescue incident occurred at 9200 and 9900 N. Reseda Boulevard, respectively.

Other Incidents in the Reseda Area

The Northridge crash also follows an incident earlier this year involving a vulnerable road user nearby. In May, the Los Angeles Police Department's Valley Traffic Detectives said they were investigating a hit-and-run collision in Reseda that left a man riding an e-scooter severely injured, according to LAPD Online. The May hit-and-run preceded Sunday's crash.

The patients’ identities, ages and current conditions, as well as the number of vehicles involved and whether lanes of Reseda Boulevard remained closed, were unclear Sunday afternoon.
