Charlotte is waking up to clear skies and low-40s temperatures Monday, with sunshine set to push the city near 68 degrees by afternoon. The week ahead looks mostly rain-free, though dry air and occasional breezes will keep mornings crisp and afternoons a little scratchy around the edges.
Sunny Monday, Chilly Night
Monday will stay sunny with a north-northeast wind around 10 mph and gusts up to 20 mph. Rain is not expected, but temperatures will slide quickly after sunset, reaching a low near 44 under clear skies.
The National Weather Service says the region’s dry air could push afternoon humidity into the 20s and 30s, raising fire-weather concerns in some areas. Charlotte has no active weather alert, but outdoor flames, sparks and discarded cigarettes deserve extra care while conditions remain dry.
Warmth Builds By Tuesday
Tuesday brings the warmest day of the stretch, with sunshine and a high near 74 degrees. Wednesday and Thursday remain bright with highs around 71 and 73, while overnight lows stay in the mid-40s.
Weekend Stays Sunny
Friday should reach about 71 degrees, followed by a slightly cooler Saturday near 67 with northeast winds of 9 to 14 mph. Sunday rebounds to around 70 under sunny skies, extending the dry run described in Hoodline’s earlier Charlotte forecast while keeping rain out of the weekend picture.
