The San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo has rolled out a fresh wave of country talent for its 2027 run, with Riley Green, Clint Black, Sammy Kershaw, The Marshall Tucker Band and Clay Walker all set to take the stage at the Frost Bank Center in February. The additions build on an already stacked bill and give rodeo-goers plenty more reasons to pencil in dates throughout the nearly three-week event.
According to KSAT, the rodeo announced its second round of headliners for the 2027 event, with Riley Green and Sammy Kershaw among the artists confirmed to perform at the Frost Bank Center. Green is slated to take the stage at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 12, 2027, while Kershaw follows a few days later as part of the Retro Rodeo program, performing at 7 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 15.
Classic Rock and Honky-Tonk Round Out the Bill
The Marshall Tucker Band is booked for 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 16, bringing its Southern rock sound to the rodeo stage. Two days after that, Clay Walker performs as part of the Ranch Rodeo program at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 18. Clint Black rounds out the newly announced slate with a 7 p.m. show on Tuesday, Feb. 23.
These additions follow the rodeo's first round of performer announcements made in August, which included country music star Keith Urban, the same report notes. Together, the two rounds of announcements are shaping up what organizers are positioning as another major year for the event's entertainment lineup.
The concert announcements are one part of a volunteer-led organization whose stated mission is to use agriculture and education to develop Texas youth. The rodeo says more than 7,000 volunteers help run the event and that it has committed more than $292 million since its inception; in 2026, its programs reached more than 17,000 young people through scholarships, grants, livestock auctions and other support, as detailed on the organization’s About the SA Rodeo page.
Dates and Ticket Access
The 2027 San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo runs from Feb. 11 through Feb. 28, spanning both the Frost Bank Center and the Freeman Coliseum fairgrounds. That roughly three-week window gives attendees multiple chances to catch a show alongside the rodeo's traditional livestock competitions and fairground events.
A rodeo ticket covers more than the concert: the organizer says admission also includes access to the carnival and the PRCA rodeo, followed by the entertainment. The concert typically starts about two hours after the rodeo begins, though the timing can vary with the length of the competition, a scheduling detail outlined in the event’s visitor FAQ.
Tickets for the 2027 rodeo are currently available through the rodeo's own website as well as Ticketmaster, giving fans more than one avenue to lock in seats for Green, Kershaw, Walker, Black or The Marshall Tucker Band ahead of what's expected to be a busy ticket season.
