Rolex has planted its first standalone boutique in Washington state inside The Shops at The Bravern in downtown Bellevue, taking over a 4,700-square-foot space once occupied by the Austrian hosiery brand Wolford. The new store sits on the mall's main level, sandwiched between high-end neighbors, and marks a notable expansion for the Swiss watchmaker into the Seattle area.
The boutique operates as Bucherer Bellevue, an Official Rolex Jeweler and Service Center, according to Rolex, which lists the address as 11111 NE 8th Street. As downtownbellevue.com reports, the store sits on the shopping center's main level near Gucci and Omega, in the space formerly occupied by Wolford. Rolex filed permits with the City of Bellevue for the project in December 2025, the outlet notes, well before the doors opened.
Downtownbellevue.com reported the boutique opened Oct. 8, while WatchPro included it among October's openings. A grand-opening celebration was scheduled for Oct. 27. The Business Journals, in its own report on the debut, also covered the opening. The Oct. 8 opening and Oct. 27 grand-opening celebration were distinct events, not conflicting dates for the same opening. The Bellevue location represents Rolex's first standalone boutique in Washington state, as The Business Journals reported.
A Storefront Built to Impress
The boutique isn't just a sales counter. Per InStore Mag, the space includes a spacious lounge with a hospitality counter, along with semi-private and private consultation areas, plus a vantage point for shoppers to watch Rolex-trained watchmakers at work. The facade itself is a statement piece, rising 40 feet and combining travertine, bronzed brass and cannelé slats, the outlet notes.
Hours at the new location run 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday, according to 425 Business. The outlet also notes that the boutique is operated through Bucherer, the Swiss watch and jewelry company Rolex purchased in 2023. Omega, meanwhile, already runs a boutique just two storefronts away, according to centurionjewelry.com.
Part of a Bigger Retail Push
Bellevue's new boutique fits into a broader expansion pattern for Rolex and its Bucherer division. WatchPro's analysis found Rolex opened 13 boutiques worldwide in 2026, seven of them owned and operated by Bucherer. Through the end of September, the tally stood at 10 new boutiques globally, four of them run by Bucherer, and the outlet reported that three more opened in October alone, all under Bucherer's operation.
Bucherer has also signaled plans to open four new U.S. showrooms in 2026 and 2027 in partnership with Rolex, per the same WatchPro report. The outlet's figures on Bucherer's current footprint vary: one piece put the company at 40 multibrand and monobrand showrooms across the United States, while another described roughly 80 stores worldwide, fewer than when Rolex acquired the business three years ago.
Since 2024, Rolex has opened boutiques in Tampa, Jacksonville, Atlanta, Plano, the Miami Design District, Montreal's Royalmount, Beverly Hills' Rodeo Drive and London's Old Bond Street, according to downtownbellevue.com. Bucherer also opened a 3,900-square-foot Rolex-only flagship in Paris in October spanning two floors, per WWD. Looking further ahead, WatchPro reports that a planned New York flagship will span 43,000 square feet over four floors, making it the largest Rolex store in the world once it opens.
For now, Bellevue shoppers have a far more modest but still striking addition to The Bravern's luxury lineup, one that puts Washington state on Rolex's retail map for the first time.
