Round Table Pizza plans to return to Napa at 1340 Trancas St., near the Lucky supermarket, in a storefront previously occupied by Starbucks. The chain’s website lists the restaurant as under construction; job postings do not specify an opening date.
The Trancas Street restaurant would bring Round Table Pizza back to Napa after its former location at 3331 Solano Ave. closed earlier in 2026, The Napa Valley Register reported. The Starbucks cafe in the Trancas Street space closed in September 2025 during the company’s nationwide restructuring.
Why the Starbucks Location Closed
In its 2025 North America review, Starbucks said it selected coffeehouses for closure when it could not create the environment it wanted for customers and employees or saw no path to financial performance. That companywide explanation does not establish why the Trancas Street location closed.
A Projected Fall Opening
Restaurant Pipeline estimates the Napa restaurant could open between October and November 2026. That is a projection, not a confirmed opening date.
Jobs Posted Ahead of the Opening
Round Table Pizza is hiring for the new location, according to job postings on Indeed, including a full-time restaurant manager and crew members. The restaurant manager position would oversee hiring, training and daily restaurant operations, per the same postings. The listings reportedly offer restaurant-manager pay of $22 to $28 per hour and crew-member pay of $17 to $25 per hour, though the Indeed postings do not specify an opening date for the Napa location.
