San Antonio police are asking the public to help identify a man.

The San Antonio Police Department’s robbery detectives shared an appeal on Facebook asking the public to help identify a man.

A News 4 Account of an Alcohol Dispute

A separate report from News 4 San Antonio describes a confrontation at a business in the 7300 block of San Pedro. That report says a 21-year-old woman told investigators a man threatened to shoot her if she did not allow him to buy alcohol, at around 2:15 a.m. on a Saturday.

The station’s account also includes details not mentioned in the police department’s public appeal. Per that report, the woman refused the man’s request, and he threw money at her before leaving. The same report notes the suspect did not display a weapon and that no injuries were reported.

How to Submit a Tip

Robbery detectives are asking anyone with information to come forward.

Public call-outs like this one are a routine tool for the department’s robbery investigators. The City of San Antonio has previously published similar requests, including one in which the City of San Antonio said its Robbery Task Force Unit needed the public’s help identifying a pictured suspect in a 2022 aggravated robbery case. In another instance, the city said a person of interest was captured on surveillance video following a robbery near IH-35 North and Rittiman Road, where a victim was robbed at gunpoint while walking to his vehicle in May 2022.
