A 52-year-old San Antonio singer who performs under the stage name Felix Truvere is facing charges after investigators say they found more than 50 illegal images and videos tied to his Apple iCloud account. Felix Roberto Juarez is accused of possessing child pornography, according to details from an arrest warrant and affidavit in Bexar County.
The case against Juarez began with a separate allegation of invasive visual recording, according to KENS 5. That initial allegation led detectives to seize Juarez's cellphone as part of their investigation.
Search Warrant Leads to iCloud Account
From there, investigators sought and received a search warrant for information tied to Juarez's Apple iCloud account. A detective reviewed material Apple provided in response to that warrant on October 7, the station's report states.
According to the affidavit, the detective discovered numerous images and videos depicting child sexual abuse during that review. The affidavit also indicates that videos depicting child sexual abuse were found in the linked iCloud account, the same account tied to the warrant.
What the Affidavit Describes
Per the affidavit, the material in question depicted prepubescent children engaged in sexual conduct with adults and other juveniles. The warrant lists July 7, 2026, as the offense date, according to the same report.
Juarez is accused, per the arrest warrant, of possessing videos depicting child sexual abuse in Bexar County. He is charged with possessing more than 50 visual depictions of child pornography. Juarez was also listed in Bexar County Central Magistrate records, per the article's reporting, which can be searched through the Bexar County Central Magistrate system.
Legal Context and Presumption of Innocence
Possession of child pornography in Texas falls under statutes addressing sexual performance by a child, outlined in the Texas Penal Code, which governs offenses tied to the sexual exploitation of minors within the state's broader criminal code covering sex offenses. The allegations outlined in the affidavit have not been proven in court. Juarez is presumed innocent unless proven guilty, and the charge against him is not a finding of guilt.
