San Antonio is waking up to clear skies Monday before a weeklong warm-up sends afternoon temperatures from the upper 70s into the upper 80s. The city should reach about 79 degrees today, with east winds around 5 mph and almost no chance of rain. Tonight brings partly cloudy skies and a low near 63.
The National Weather Service's Austin/San Antonio office says Tuesday will be sunny and warmer, with a high near 84, and the rest of the workweek keeps climbing. That marks a modest update from Hoodline's earlier forecast, while the latest NWS outlook extends the dry stretch through Saturday.
Warm Afternoons Take Over By Thursday
Wednesday is expected to hit 86 under sunny skies, followed by highs near 88 on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Overnight lows will stay relatively comfortable, ranging from about 63 to 68, so early mornings may still feel more fall-like than the afternoons.
A Small Shower Chance Appears Sunday
A slight chance of rain may develop in western areas by Sunday. In San Antonio, Sunday is expected to be cloudy with a high near 81 and a 10% chance of precipitation during both daytime and nighttime, making a full-day washout unlikely.
No watches, warnings or advisories are listed for the San Antonio area. For outdoor plans, Monday and Tuesday offer the gentlest temperatures, while late-week activities will be sunnier but noticeably warmer by afternoon.
