Alicia Evonne Sanchez, 37, also known as Alicia Evonne Seguin, faces a charge of continuous sexual assault of a child under 14, and her bond was set at $3,000,000, KLTV reported. The station said she was arrested in late September.

Haygood’s prior case

Kenneth Donald Haygood, the Tyler physician named in the allegations, pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual assault and received an eight-year prison sentence, according to CBS19. His WebMD profile lists a Tyler address.

In its account of the case, KLTV reported that Sanchez allegedly brought a minor to Haygood’s office on numerous occasions and was present during at least 10 alleged assaults. The station said the child cried and asked Haygood to stop, and that he responded with an explanation about what doctors do.

KLTV also reported that the child told another adult and a counselor that Haygood gave Sanchez Adderall after the alleged assaults. According to the station, Sanchez put the pills in a clear bag and told the child they were for people unable to get them from their own doctor or that there was a medication shortage.

The allegations against Sanchez have not been proven. The case remains pending in Smith County; the charge is addressed by Texas Penal Code § 21.02.
