Sombr is coming back to Detroit, and this time he's headlining an arena. The Grammy-nominated singer will perform at Little Caesars Arena on Nov. 7, 2026, bringing his You Are the Reason Tour to Motown with Dove Cameron and Hannah Jadagu opening the show.
It marks a significant jump for the 20-year-old artist, whose only prior Detroit appearance came in September 2025 at the considerably smaller Masonic Temple, according to The Detroit News. The outlet reports that both Cameron and Jadagu will open the Little Caesars Arena date, and that Sombr was nominated for Best New Artist at this year's Grammy Awards. His debut album, “I Barely Knew Her,” released last summer, set the stage for the rapid rise that's now landed him his first arena tour.
From TikTok Breakout to SNL Stage
Sombr's ascent has been fueled as much by viral momentum as by radio play. His songs “Back to Friends” and “Undressed” broke through the noise on streaming platforms and TikTok, as USA Today reported earlier this year. That same piece pointed to his performance of “12 to 12” on “Saturday Night Live” as further proof of his crossover staying power. He's also known for tracks including “Homewrecker” and “My Body Isn't Ready,” part of the catalog that's carried him from pop-up internet fame to arena marquees.
The Detroit date is one stop on a tour Rolling Stone describes as Sombr's first arena run, a 37-date trek announced not long after he performed at the first weekend of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California. The tour's lineup of openers varies by city, with Rolling Stone noting that artists including Interpol, The Last Dinner Party, Tom Odell, Dove Cameron, Balu Brigada, King Princess, The Hellp and Hannah Jadagu are slated to appear on select dates. Reports differ on exactly where the tour kicks off: The Detroit News has said the fall leg begins Sept. 29 in Vancouver and wraps Nov. 23 in New York City, while Rolling Stone has described the tour beginning at Mexico City's Pepsi Center before concluding Nov. 23 at Madison Square Garden in Sombr's hometown of New York.
How to Get Tickets
Tickets for the Little Caesars Arena show were set to go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday through Ticketmaster, with a presale window that opened earlier at 10 a.m. Tuesday, per the same Detroit News report. Resale and marketplace listings for the Nov. 7 date have also appeared on Ticketmaster, Live Nation, which lists the show for 7 p.m., SeatGeek and StubHub. Fans weighing their options have several platforms to compare before the show arrives at the arena next week.
For a concert that's drawing comparisons to Sombr's breakout year, the jump from a temple-turned-theater to one of Detroit's biggest stages says plenty about how fast his profile has grown, as The Detroit News has chronicled throughout his rise. Whichever version of the tour's start date proves accurate, Detroit fans now have a firm date circled: Nov. 7, at Little Caesars Arena.
