The wedding night reportedly ended with a distinctly unglamorous, family-first touch: Vogue reports the couple spent the evening “roasting marshmallows as a family on their wedding night.” Bush and Harris then spent the following stretch visiting friends and family across the country to share their news in person rather than posting an announcement, per the same account.

Bush confirmed the marriage herself in the book, referring to Harris plainly as her wife.
