Jenirose Marie Price, 45, was arrested and charged with collision involving death, a second-degree felony, after a fatal incident outside Noir Hookah Lounge in South Austin, according to an arrest affidavit cited by FOX 7 Austin. The affidavit says Price allegedly struck her ex-boyfriend in the parking lot on October 12 and left without calling for help.

Officers were called to Noir Hookah Lounge, at 3820 South Congress Avenue, at 9:46 a.m., according to the affidavit cited by FOX 7 Austin. They found the victim on the ground with tire marks across his clothes. He was pronounced dead at the scene, court documents state.

Investigators Reconstructed an Early-Morning Timeline

The affidavit says a Fiat 500 entered the parking lot shortly before audio captured the victim moaning at about 4:35 a.m. The vehicle pulled in between buildings near where he was later found. A person got out, looked around, returned to the car and drove away about 20 minutes after the impact, according to the account in the court documents.

Detectives believed Price had gone to the lot intending to ram a gate but struck the victim instead, the court documents state. Police reports cited in the station's account documented disputes between Price and the victim and said she was known to crash into the gate to the back lot. The victim was found in front of that gate.

Victim Lived in a Motor Home on the Property

In an interview described in the affidavit, a 911 caller told investigators the victim lived in a motor home in the business's back lot. Surveillance video reportedly showed him walking around earlier that morning with no markings on his clothes before he walked out of frame, according to the same account.

The affidavit states that Price left the victim for about 10 minutes before driving away and did not call 911. Officers later saw front-end damage on her Fiat, which investigators said was consistent with the collision.

Found Sleeping in Her Car Three Days Later

Detectives found Price sleeping in her car near Mopac and Northland Drive on October 15, three days after the collision, according to FOX 7 Austin. She was arrested and charged with collision involving death. The records reviewed did not provide information about her bond, attorney or court date.

How Austin Police Publicize Other Fatal Crashes

Austin Police Department announcements document other fatal-crash cases involving drivers who left the scene. In one separate case, APD said Agustin Guillen was arrested in connection with a fatal crash on May 6, 2025, in the 2900 block of North Mopac Expressway NB; the department said the driver had left the scene and Guillen was charged with Collision Involving Death, according to APD. In another case, APD said a pedestrian was killed on June 12, 2026, in the 600 block of N. IH 35 service road southbound. Detectives later identified Martha Maria Flores and reported her arrest in connection with that fatality, the department said. Both cases are separate from the South Congress incident.
