Spectators Bar & Grill held its grand opening in Conroe on October 13, marking the fast-growing chain's fifth Houston-area location, in Montgomery County. The new restaurant, tucked into the Grand Central Park development at 1259 Grand Central Parkway, brings 40 televisions for sports viewing, a cocktail list, and brunch, lunch and dinner service to a corridor that's been reshaping itself for years.
Business officials confirmed that the new bar and grill is now serving the Conroe area, according to Community Impact. The menu leans into Texas comfort food, with steak, salmon filets, shrimp, loaded nachos and burgers on offer, plus 14-ounce ribeye steaks served with loaded baked potatoes, per the same report. The restaurant also runs a daily happy hour from 3 to 7 p.m. local time.
The Conroe opening is the latest move in a rapid 2026 expansion for the chain, which is owned by Aneal Mohammud. Spectators opened its fourth location in Katy in August, as reported by CultureMap Houston; the Conroe restaurant opened in October, according to Community Impact. The brand has locations in Sugar Land, Richmond, Katy and Conroe, according to Spectators' own location history.
Signature Dishes and a Deep Cocktail List
The Conroe menu highlights include Texas Twinkies — bacon-wrapped jalapeños stuffed with Philly cheesesteak — along with hot honey crispy chicken sandwiches and a signature prime beef cheeseburger blended from brisket, chuck and short rib, per details from What Now Houston. Across the Spectators brand, the bar program includes more than 60 house-crafted cocktails, including the Spectator Smash, Spicy Peach Margarita, Jon-Tini and Maple Bacon Old Fashioned, the outlet reports.
The venue's 40 televisions cater to the sports-bar crowd, and the restaurant keeps late hours to match: Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to midnight, Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 a.m., and Sunday from 9 a.m. to midnight, according to the same account.

Conroe's Population Boom Fuels Suburban Demand
The restaurant's arrival tracks with a broader surge reshaping Montgomery County. Conroe's population grew from 56,207 in the 2010 U.S. Census to an estimated 114,581 by 2024, more than doubling over 15 years, as the Houston Chronicle reported. That growth hasn't gone unnoticed nationally — Conroe ranked as the Houston area's top suburb for growth in 2025 and came in 20th nationally on U-Haul's annual Growth Index, the newspaper found.
For now, Conroe diners have a new option for catching a game and digging into a ribeye or a Texas Twinkie, with brunch, lunch and dinner menus all in rotation at the Grand Central Parkway address.
