A new Tacos My Guey is heading to St. Cloud, with the fast-casual Mexican chain targeting a late-November opening at 1511 Belladonna Place. The restaurant plans to run seven days a week, including extended hours that stretch to 3 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, giving the city a new late-night option for birria and street tacos.

According to Business Debut, the new spot is planned to open from 11 a.m. to midnight Sunday through Thursday, with those hours extending to 3 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights. The outlet reports the St. Cloud restaurant will also serve beer and wine-based margaritas alongside the chain's usual menu. Franchise owner Alejandro Rodriguez, who is also part owner of the downtown Orlando location, told the outlet the St. Cloud restaurant is targeting a late-November opening.

A Family-Run Brand Expanding Its Footprint

Rodriguez described Tacos My Guey as a brand that focuses on healthy and good food and cares about its brand, people and customers, per the same account. The company is a family-owned business run by two brothers and a small group of franchise partners, the report notes, and Rodriguez and his partners say they intend to keep development within a circle of family and friends while they refine branding, food quality and service. He added that he plans to open one to two more Tacos My Guey locations in 2027.

The St. Cloud menu is expected to follow the chain's established format: counter ordering with dine-in or takeout service, and a focus on quality Mexican dishes with an emphasis on healthier options, including classic plates like birria. Tacos My Guey's own site lists signature birria tacos and street tacos alongside loaded burritos, fresh bowls, cheesy quesadillas, nachos and esquites, according to Tacos My Guey. The company says everything is made fresh daily at its Orlando-area locations.

Location Count Depends On Who's Counting

Business Debut's report describes the St. Cloud restaurant as the brand's seventh location, while Tacos My Guey's own locations page states the company has five restaurants serving the Orlando area. The discrepancy between the two counts was not resolved in available reporting.

The brand's roots trace back to a food truck serving Mexican street food before it expanded into Orlando-area storefronts, according to the Orange Observer. That outlet reported new locations opening in Hunter's Creek, downtown Orlando, Narcoossee, Oviedo and Winter Park as the concept grew. Tacos My Guey was founded by Venezuelan brothers Daniel and Ansberto Borrego, according to Orlando Weekly, which also reported the brand's locations across Orlando include a spot on North Orange Avenue and a food truck on Narcoossee Road.

Part Of A Broader Push Beyond Orlando

St. Cloud isn't the only community outside Orlando's core getting a new Tacos My Guey. Winter Garden snags late-night taco spot at 1025 S. Dillard Street, a location Hoodline reported is pitched as a late-night, fast-casual option offering birria tacos, quesadillas, burritos, bowls and esquites. As of that report, there was still no firm grand opening date for the Winter Garden store.

For St. Cloud, the opening timeline remains tied to late November, with Rodriguez's comments to Business Debut offering the most specific timeframe available so far. Whether the new location ultimately becomes the chain's sixth, seventh, or some other number in its lineup may simply depend on which count the company settles on as it continues expanding across Central Florida.
