Saturday should remain mostly dry during the daytime, with northeast winds between 3 and 8 mph. According to the National Weather Service in Wakefield, rain is likely between 7 p.m. and 2 a.m., followed by showers and a low near 63 degrees. Rainfall could total between one-half and three-quarters of an inch overnight.
Sunday Brings Heavy Rain And Storm Risk
Sunday looks like the weekend washout, with showers before 2 p.m. and showers or thunderstorms afterward. The high may reach 75 degrees, but the forecast calls for a 100% chance of precipitation, three-quarters to 1 inch of rain, and east winds that could gust to around 20 mph.
Forecasters are also warning of a low but meaningful risk of strong to severe storms as the remnants of Isaias move through the region. Damaging wind gusts and a few tornadoes are possible, while urban and poor-drainage areas could see localized flooding Sunday morning.
Monday Brings A Quick Weather Reset
Showers could linger into early Monday, mainly before 8 a.m., but skies should turn mostly sunny with a high near 78 degrees. Tuesday looks sunny and warmer near 84, followed by another sunny day Wednesday near 77 and a cooler, mostly sunny Thursday near 71.
