Milwaukee is waking up to clear skies Thursday, with temperatures in the middle to upper 40s early and a sunny afternoon high near 66. The bigger weather story is waiting for the weekend, when Saturday could feel more like summer with temperatures near 79.
Sunny Thursday Gives Way To Friday Showers
Thursday should stay dry from morning through evening, with light to modest west-northwest winds and plenty of sunshine. The National Weather Service Milwaukee/Sullivan lists no watches, warnings or advisories for the area.
Friday starts mostly sunny and reaches about 67 degrees, but a 30% chance of showers arrives between roughly 3 and 5 p.m., followed by a slight chance of thunderstorms. Rainfall could be light, making timing more important than total accumulation for outdoor plans.
Saturday Could Feel More Like July
Saturday is shaping up to be the warmest day of the forecast, with sunny skies, south winds of 10 to 15 mph and a high near 79. Sunday turns cooler but remains mostly sunny near 69, while Monday brings another mild afternoon with a slight chance of showers after 1 p.m.
The forecast is a warmer and more active update from Wednesday's Hoodline forecast, especially for Friday's shower and thunderstorm timing and Saturday's near-80-degree warmth. Rain chances rise Monday night to 40% as showers become possible, then Tuesday brings a chance of afternoon showers.
