Tobias John-Allen Click, 29, of Susquehanna Township, died Sunday morning after a vehicle pursuit that followed a fatal shooting in East Lampeter Township. East Lampeter Township police said the Cumberland County Coroner’s Office pronounced Click dead at 8:25 a.m. from injuries caused by a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The police case record says the investigation remains active.

Hours after the shooting, state police found Click’s vehicle and pursued it from northbound I-81 in South Middleton Township into Dauphin County, according to ABC27’s report. The pursuit ended near Arsenal Boulevard and Herr Street in Harrisburg. Troopers found Click unresponsive with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, the outlet reported.

The investigation began with the shooting of Ernesto Rodriguez at a residence in the 400 block of Aaron Lane early Saturday. The Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office alleges Click shot Rodriguez while Rodriguez’s girlfriend, who was also Click’s ex-girlfriend, and her four children were inside. The office also alleges Click threatened the woman and held her and the children hostage, according to the district attorney’s case page.
