Tampa is starting Monday clear and around 72 degrees, with a north wind making the early morning feel livelier than the temperature suggests. Skies will stay sunny as the city warms to about 87 degrees, with no rain expected and humidity easing through the day.
A Dry Stretch Holds Through Wednesday
The pleasant, rain-free pattern should continue through midweek, according to the National Weather Service. Tuesday and Wednesday will also reach the upper 80s, while overnight lows settle near 69 to 71 degrees under mostly clear skies.
Monday night will be especially comfortable by Tampa standards, with a low around 68 and north winds near 6 mph. It is a good stretch for outdoor plans before the forecast gets a little more typically Florida-like later in the week.
Showers Return By Friday
A small chance of rain arrives Thursday, with the odds increasing Friday as moisture moves back into the region. Friday will be mostly sunny with a high near 86, but isolated showers and thunderstorms could develop after 2 p.m., with a 20% chance of precipitation.
Saturday stays mostly sunny and cooler, topping out near 82 degrees, but isolated afternoon showers and thunderstorms remain possible. The National Weather Service expects the wetter pattern to spread across the area Friday and Saturday rather than producing an all-day washout.
Breezier Conditions Build This Weekend
Northeast winds will pick up behind the late-week weather shift, reaching roughly 15 to 20 mph Sunday. Sunday should still be mostly sunny with a high near 80, but the stronger breeze and another chance for an afternoon shower or thunderstorm will make it feel noticeably different from Monday's calm, dry start.
