Another Recent Parkway Crash In the Same Township
Tuesday's wreck is not the only recent incident to send a vehicle off the roadway in Washington Township. Earlier this year, a preliminary investigation found that a different driver lost directional control on the Garden State Parkway, left the highway, traveled across nearby grass, and struck multiple trees, according to News 12. That driver sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
In a separate case, News 12 also reported that an SUV crashed into the woods off the Garden State Parkway in Washington Township, trapping its driver inside the vehicle. Firefighters in that incident helped rescue the driver before the person was taken to a hospital, the station noted.
For Tuesday's crash, the full circumstances remain unresolved. No cause has been confirmed, and the condition of either occupant has not been made public.
