The Ten Top plans to end service at 748 Shirley Ave. when 2026 concludes and begin operating from its 5115 Colley Ave. Market location in January 2027. WAVY.com reported that the announcement gave no reason for the change.
What customers can expect
The Colley Avenue restaurant is expected to offer both grab-and-go food and dishes prepared to order. According to WAVY.com, plans include lunch, seasonal choices and pre-packaged meals, alongside the restaurant’s existing range of dinners and other takeout options. The Shirley Avenue site is scheduled to remain open through the end of 2026.
A long-running Shirley Avenue address
The restaurant’s history at the address stretches back further than the “more than 15 years” cited in the closure coverage. American Road magazine reports that The Ten Top moved to its current Shirley Avenue location in 1997. It also says Rick and Heather Fraley bought the restaurant after their 2011 wedding and first met there in 2008.
