Three Days Grace rolls into San Antonio on Monday for its Alienation Tour stop at Frost Bank Center, but the band will take the stage without its usual drummer. Neil Sanderson ruptured a bicep tendon off the bone and is headed into surgery the day after the show, forcing the group to bring in a fill-in behind the kit for the run.

A Last-Minute Drummer Swap

According to theprp.com, Sanderson suffered the injury and is scheduled for emergency surgery on Oct. 27, the day after the San Antonio show. Former Breaking Benjamin drummer Shaun Foist has stepped in as the live fill-in for the tour while Sanderson recovers, the outlet reports. Sanderson plans to still handle keyboards and backing vocals at most remaining dates, but theprp.com notes he's sitting out that role specifically in Houston, San Antonio and Rogers.

The San Antonio show is a stop on the Alienation Tour.
