Tracy Morgan, Daniel Radcliffe and a roster of sitcom veterans are heading to Times Square next month for two free celebrations of NBC's 100th birthday, staged inside the New York Comedy Festival. The events, billed as NBC100 Presents, will bring together performers and creators from “30 Rock,” “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” and the network's newest comedy, “The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins,” for a pair of panels at the Hard Rock Hotel New York.
The New York Comedy Festival and NBC are presenting the two special events as part of the festival's lineup, according to the New York Comedy Festival's official site, which lists both gatherings at The Venue on Music Row inside the Hard Rock Hotel. As Time Out first reported, the two panels are free and open to the public, though attendees will need tickets to get in.
Reggie Dinkins Cast Reunites for Advance Screening
The first event, NBC100 Presents: The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins, is set for Saturday, Nov. 14. Per Variety, the evening will open with an advance screening of Season 2, Episode 3 of the show, followed by a conversation with its cast and creative team. Tracy Morgan, Daniel Radcliffe, Erika Alexander, Bobby Moynihan, Precious Way and Jalyn Hall are all set to appear, alongside series co-creators and executive producers Robert Carlock and Sam Means.
Josh Horowitz of the podcast “Happy Sad Confused” will moderate the discussion, the outlet's report notes. The panel is one of two NBC100 events tied to the network's centennial push this year.
Sunday Panel Traces NBC Comedy's Evolution
The following day, Sunday, Nov. 15, NBC100 Presents: The Next Great NBC Comedy will examine how the network's comedy lineage runs through “Parks and Recreation,” “30 Rock” and “Brooklyn Nine-Nine.” Dan Goor and Luke Del Tredici — the writing and producing duo behind “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” and the upcoming NBC sitcom “Sunset P.I.” — will lead the discussion, per the same Variety account, joined by “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” star Chelsea Peretti, “30 Rock” actors Jane Krakowski and Judah Friedlander, and Jane Levy.
“Sunset P.I.” is described in the report as a single-camera workplace comedy starring Jake Johnson as a cynical detective at a past-its-prime private investigator agency in Hollywood, giving the panel's hosts a project of their own to tease alongside the retrospective conversation.
Part of NBC's Yearlong Centennial Celebration
Both panels fall under NBC's broader NBC100 initiative, which the network says will mark its 100th anniversary throughout 2026 with retrospectives spanning its shows, social channels and NBC Insider coverage, according to NBC. The network traces its roots to its first-ever radio broadcast on Nov. 15, 1926 — a date that places the Sunday panel almost exactly on the anniversary itself. The celebration builds toward a three-hour primetime special airing Dec. 10, as noted in the Variety report.
The two NBC100 panels arrive in the middle of the New York Comedy Festival's 22nd edition, which runs from Nov. 6 through Nov. 15 across all five boroughs. This year's festival features more than 200 comedians across over 100 shows, spanning stand-up, live podcasts, sketch, improv, screenings and conversations.
