A disturbance call at a Bealeton apartment complex ended with one man Tased and a second man allegedly jumping into the fray against deputies, leaving both facing a stack of charges and a stay at the Fauquier County Adult Detention Center without bond. Jalen Samuels, 27, of Hempstead, Maryland, and Isaac Decarlo, 25, of Gaithersburg, Maryland, were both taken into custody after the confrontation at an apartment complex on Willow Drive.

According to DC News Now, the Fauquier County Sheriff's Office said deputies were first dispatched to the apartment complex on Willow Drive after a report of a disturbance. Once on scene, deputies determined that a physical altercation had happened between two men, who then became disorderly while deputies investigated, the sheriff's office said.

Deputies attempted to detain Samuels, and he reportedly resisted and assaulted a deputy, according to FOX 5 DC. He was ultimately subdued with a Taser and taken into custody.

Second Man Allegedly Joins the Fight

Immediately after Samuels was handcuffed, deputies said a second man, Decarlo, began fighting with the responding deputies and was also apprehended, per the same account. It is not clear from available reports what originally sparked the altercation between the two men before deputies arrived.

Samuels was charged with obstruction of justice and assault against a law enforcement officer, the station's report notes. Decarlo faces a steeper set of charges — two counts of obstruction of justice and three counts of assault against a law enforcement officer.

Both men were transported to the Fauquier County Adult Detention Center, where they are currently being held without bond, the outlet reported.

Fauquier County Sheriff Jeremy Falls said people coming to Fauquier County are expected to respect its laws and community. The case remains in its early stages, and no court dates, attorney information, or plea details have been made public.
