The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile is coming back to Denver next month, with two scheduled stops that will let Colorado hot dog fans get up close to the rolling icon. Per hot dog officials, the vehicle will make its Mile High appearances in November 2026, starting at the Forney Museum of Transportation before heading to Empower Field at Mile High days later.

The first stop lands at the Forney Museum of Transportation on Nov. 12, with the Wienermobile parked and ready from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., according to kygo.com. Visitors can snap photos next to the massive hot dog on wheels and pick up giveaways including Wiener Whistles, stickers and postcards, the station reports. The museum will also offer discounted admission all day during the visit, per the same report.

A Second Stop at Empower Field

Three days later, the Wienermobile is set to appear at Empower Field at Mile High on Nov. 15, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., according to 9News. The Girls on the Run Fall 5K Series also takes place at Empower Field that same day, 9News notes, though it is not established whether the two events are connected.

Beyond the Denver stops, the Wienermobile's Colorado itinerary includes a Park Hill Parade appearance at the intersection of 23rd Avenue and Dexter Street starting at 1:30 p.m., according to kdvr.com. At each stop, the vehicle will be handing out wiener whistles, taking pictures and playing games, that outlet reports.

How Big Is the Wienermobile, Exactly

There's some disagreement over just how long this legendary hot dog actually is. 9News describes the Wienermobile as a 27-foot-long hot dog on wheels, while kdvr.com calls it a 23-foot-long American icon — and the discrepancy between the two measurements could not be resolved.

What isn't in dispute is the vehicle's age. The Wienermobile was created in 1936, according to kdvr.com, and by 1988, Wienermobiles were hitting the road all across America, per the same outlet. Multiple giant hot-dog vehicles now operate across the country, and their journeys can be tracked, kdvr.com adds.

Who's Behind the Wheel

Oscar Mayer says its iconic brand ambassadors drive a fleet of six Wienermobile vehicles across what the company calls the Hot Dog Highways of America, according to oscarmayer.com. Those ambassadors are known as Hotdoggers, the company notes.

Colorado isn't the only state getting a visit this year. The Wienermobile was also slated to make five stops in Northeast Ohio, according to Cleveland.com, underscoring just how far this fleet of six travels each season.
