Taylor Sheridan is swapping his pop-up steakhouse stand for a permanent spot on the Las Vegas Strip. The Yellowstone creator's Four Sixes Ranch is partnering with MGM Resorts International to open Four Sixes Ranch Steakhouse inside MGM Grand, taking over the space once occupied by Crush American Grill, which closed in September.
The restaurant is planned to debut in early 2027, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal. The steakhouse marks a permanent upgrade for a concept that's already had a taste of Las Vegas.
From Wynn Pop-Up to Permanent Strip Address
Four Sixes Ranch first arrived in Las Vegas in September 2024 as a pop-up at Wynn Las Vegas, located at Tableau inside the Wynn Tower Suites, a partnership the resort described at the time as uniting Four Sixes Ranch with Sheridan as a, quote, visionary storyteller, per Wynn Resorts. That menu leaned heavily on Four Sixes beef, including a 28-ounce cowboy steak and a 40-ounce wagyu tomahawk carved tableside, the resort said. The pop-up introduced the ranch's concept to Las Vegas before the steakhouse's planned move to MGM Grand.
Sheridan owns the Four Sixes Ranch, which the Review-Journal describes as a 260,000-acre spread in North Texas, encompassing roughly 415 square miles. The ranch is known for high-quality beef and top-notch ranch horses, the Review-Journal reports.
Every Dish Tells a Story, Sheridan Says
Sheridan, known for Yellowstone, is bringing the Four Sixes Ranch Steakhouse to MGM Grand.
Design work is being handled by Charisse Cardenas, a production designer whose credits include American Sniper, Landman, Lioness and The Madison. The space will feature digital screens depicting footage of Sheridan himself, tying the dining room directly to the ranch's on-screen mythology.
The steakhouse adds Four Sixes Ranch to MGM Resorts' restaurant lineup. The ranch's broader ambitions extend beyond the dining room, too. Sheridan has said he hopes to increasingly serve the growing pasture-to-plate demand, according to Land Report, a goal a Strip restaurant could help advance.
Joining a Crowded Field of Strip Debuts
Four Sixes Ranch Steakhouse lands amid a flurry of recent MGM Resorts dining activity. The company opened the double-Michelin-starred Gymkhana from London at Aria in December, and Morimoto at MGM Grand marked its 10th anniversary in October. The Corner Store is set to debut at The Cosmopolitan in November, rounding out a stretch of openings and milestones that MGM is using to position its restaurant lineup as a Strip-wide draw rather than a single-property amenity.
