A new made-from-scratch breakfast and brunch spot is moving into the Galleria area, taking over the space that used to house The Toasted Yolk Cafe on Fountain View Drive. Biscuits & Butter Eatery is planning to open its doors at the Houston location, bringing scratch-made morning and midday comfort food to a stretch of the city already known for its dining options.
According to Community Impact, Biscuits & Butter Eatery will occupy The Toasted Yolk Cafe's former space along Fountain View Drive. The restaurant is slated to sit at 2711 Fountain View Drive, Ste. A, in Houston, per the same report.
Biscuits & Butter is tied to Houston hospitality company Bleauprint, whose other promoted concepts include Sunrise House and Atlas Ultra Lounge. The group’s lineup spans more than one dining occasion: the new Fountain View project is a breakfast-and-lunch eatery, while its other concepts include a lounge. That gives the restaurant a local operator with other Houston hospitality projects behind it. Bleauprint’s hospitality hub links to the concepts.
What's On the Menu
What's On the Menu As noted by Community Impact, Biscuits & Butter Eatery plans to serve made-from-scratch breakfast, brunch and lunch favorites. The concept is described as being dedicated to early morning and midday comfort food, with handcrafted drinks including coffee and matcha, along with buttery breads also on offer.
The new restaurant will join a sizeable Houston food-service industry. The Greater Houston Partnership counted more than 13,000 restaurants, cafes and bars in the region in 2023, with the sector employing more than 300,000 people in mid-2025. The partnership’s outlook also tied continued restaurant development to regional population growth, while noting that rising food-away-from-home prices have led some households to cut back on dining out. The partnership’s 2025 economic outlook provides the broader market context.
A Dec. 1 opening date for the Galleria-area location appeared in a search-result snippet tied to the same outlet's report, though that detail carries less certainty than the restaurant's other plans. The eatery is expected to be open seven days a week, as reported by Community Impact.
Private Dining and a Waitlist
Biscuits & Butter Eatery will also feature an elevated private dining room bookable for special occasions, Community Impact reported. Ahead of the grand opening, the article notes that patrons can inquire about private bookings or join a virtual waitlist to get in early once the doors open on Fountain View Drive.
The Galleria area already has established breakfast and brunch competition. Snooze’s Galleria location, for example, advertises creative breakfast, coffee and brunch and opens daily at 6:30 a.m. Biscuits & Butter’s planned combination of comfort-food meals, coffee and matcha would add another daytime option in a corridor where existing restaurants serve early-morning diners. Snooze’s Galleria location lists its hours and offerings.
