Bixby police are asking for the public's help finding a missing 17-year-old girl who was last seen leaving her home in Bixby, Oklahoma, on Halloween. Authorities identified her as Breonna Pickett and say she has not been located since Oct. 31.
According to KOKI FOX 23, Pickett is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing about 130 pounds, with blue eyes. Authorities say she has pink hair, though her hair may have been changed back to brown since she went missing. Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call 911 or contact the Bixby Police Department directly.
What Authorities Are Asking the Public to Do
Police have provided a direct line for tips in Pickett's case: 918-366-8294. The department has not released additional details about the circumstances surrounding her disappearance.
The Oklahoma Missing Person Index, maintained through the state's law enforcement reporting system, notes that missing-person listings it publishes are not originated by the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation itself. Instead, per okmissing.osbi.ok.gov, that information comes from the investigating agency through the National Crime Information Center.
A Similar Search in Bixby Two Years Ago
This is not the first time Bixby police have turned to the public for help locating missing young people. In August 2024, the department sought help finding 8-year-old Naomi Perez and 10-year-old Kailani Perez, who had been reported missing on Aug. 27 of that year, according to ktul.com.
In that earlier case, Bixby police said nothing had led investigators to believe the two girls were endangered, though the department also said at the time that investigators had exhausted all of their leads. The same tip line used in Pickett's case, 918-366-8294, was provided for the public in the 2024 search for the Perez sisters.
