South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa is throwing open the doors to its arena this week for a two-night showdown of bull riders chasing the sport's most unforgiving clock: eight seconds. The PBR Ram Challenger Series Championship kicks off Wednesday and runs through Thursday, with both nights starting at 7 p.m.
South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa will host the Professional Bull Riders Ram Challenger Series Championship at South Point Arena on Wednesday, Nov. 4, and Thursday, Nov. 5, according to Nevada Business Magazine. Riders will try to stay aboard a bucking bull for eight seconds, the baseline measure of a qualified ride in professional bull riding, per the same outlet's report. The arena sits at 9777 Las Vegas Blvd. South, inside the South Point resort itself, so out-of-town fans won't need to venture far from their hotel room to catch the action, as FOX5 Las Vegas also reported.
A Proving Ground Before Vegas's Biggest Bull Riding Stage
This championship caps the 2026 PBR Ram Challenger Series season, which ran from May 21 through Nov. 5 and included more than 50 events across 30 cities, according to PBR. The top 40 riders in the Challenger Series standings earned their way into this championship, which PBR notes is held alongside the PBR Teams Championship in Las Vegas. PBR describes the series as a proving ground, offering competitive opportunities to riders both tied to PBR Teams rosters and those riding independently.
There's also a longer-term prize riding on this week's results. Select top finishers in the final 2026 Challenger Series standings will lock in automatic spots in 2027 PBR Unleash The Beast events, PBR says, meaning the rides at South Point this week could shape rosters for the sport's top tour next season.
Getting Tickets and a Room Under One Roof
Fans looking to attend can find tickets through the South Point Arena & Equestrian Center website and PBR.com, Nevada Business Magazine reports. For those wanting to turn the trip into a full Vegas stay, South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa is advertising a package that bundles room accommodations with two tickets to the championship on Nov. 4 and 5, starting at $495, according to the resort's own listing on South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa's website. The package covers two nights of room, tax, and resort fees for those same dates.
Guests interested in booking can call or email the hotel directly and mention promo code CHA2026 to apply the package rate, per South Point's posted instructions. Beyond the arena, the resort offers dining, hotel amenities, and free parking, giving fans a reason to settle in for the full two nights rather than just dropping by for the show.
