A vehicle crashed into the doorway of the Kroger on East Stroop Road in Kettering on Saturday morning, sending police and medics rushing to the scene and leaving the store's entrance damaged. An employee reportedly jumped into action during the chaos, pushing a customer out of the path of danger.
According to WDTN, the Kettering Police Department said the crash happened at approximately 11:50 a.m. A separate search-result snippet from WHIO indicates police and medics were dispatched to the store around 11:40 a.m., so the exact timing reported across outlets differs slightly.
The station reported that an employee reportedly helped a customer avoid injury by leaping in front of her and pushing her out of the way as the vehicle came through the entrance. Medics were called to the scene, and a dispatcher told WHIO no one was injured.
