Christian Yelich’s Greendale appearance is scheduled as a brief public shift, not a formal meet-and-greet, according to CBS 58. The Milwaukee Brewers captain is set to be at Raising Cane’s on Monday, Nov. 2, from 10 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.; selected fans in line may be served by Yelich.
During the shift, Yelich is expected to serve Chicken Finger Meals at the counter and drive-thru, work in the kitchen and speak to fans from an outdoor stage, according to CBS 58. The appearance is open to the public, but the station says it is not an official meet-and-greet.
What to Expect Outside the Restaurant
The restaurant is at 5250 South 76th Street in Greendale. According to CBS 58, the parking lot will be reserved for fans, with vehicle access limited to select drive-thru customers. The station reports that additional parking is available at Southridge Mall.
WISN's coverage advises attendees to dress for the weather, wear Brewers gear, bring water and expect crowds. Two days after the title-clinching win, Yelich also took part in the Brewers Championship Parade and Rally in downtown Milwaukee, the station reports.
A First Title for Milwaukee
The shift comes on the heels of the Milwaukee Brewers' first championship in franchise history, won by defeating the Tampa Bay Rays in Game 5 of the World Series. It marks the city's first World Series title since the Milwaukee Braves won in 1957.
Raising Cane's has held similar post-championship shifts for Dodgers players. The company says more than 1,000 fans turned out for Enrique “Kiké” Hernández’s 2024 appearance at its Alhambra restaurant; its account says he served meals, took orders and worked the drive-thru. KTLA reported that Hernández worked the shift on Nov. 4 at the restaurant at 1300 E Valley Blvd., serving fans at the counter and drive-thru.
A year later, Dodgers catcher Will Smith also served fans at a Raising Cane's location after the team's World Series win. KTLA reported that Smith appeared at the chain's Hollywood location on Nov. 5, 2025; ABC7 Los Angeles also reported a large crowd. Yelich's Greendale shift is another example of the chain hosting a player appearance after a championship.
