Columbia is shaking off a cloudy start Monday as skies clear only a bit in the afternoon and temperatures climb to 76 degrees, kicking off a warm stretch that peaks in the low 80s before rain chances return. The forecast calls for mostly cloudy conditions through Monday, November 2, rather than a mostly sunny day.
Mostly Cloudy Monday
Monday’s forecast calls for mostly cloudy skies, northeast winds of 5 to 8 mph, a low chance of rain, and a high near 76, with skies clearing only a bit in the afternoon. Monday night will be mostly cloudy with a low around 55. No watches, warnings, or advisories are in effect, according to the National Weather Service.
Warmest Stretch Arrives Tuesday And Wednesday
Tuesday should be mostly sunny with a high near 80, followed by a partly sunny Wednesday reaching about 82 degrees. Overnight lows will remain mild, around 58 Tuesday night and 63 Wednesday night. That is a modest shift from Sunday’s earlier Hoodline forecast, which emphasized more persistent cloud cover.
Rain Chances Return Late Week
Rain chances return mid-to-late week, with scattered activity possible. Thursday and Friday bring chances of precipitation. The National Weather Service says the severe-weather threat remains low, though a few thunderstorms remain possible.
