Nevada State Police were responding to the deadly crash on I-15 southbound near Lamb Boulevard on Monday night, according to fox5vegas.com. The closure wasn't limited to one direction — an RTC alert indicated that all northbound and southbound lanes were shut down between Lamb Boulevard and the 215 Northern Beltway, cutting off a key stretch of the freeway on the north side of the valley.
Drivers Told to Seek Alternate Routes
With the freeway fully blocked in both directions, officials encouraged drivers to avoid the area and use alternate routes, as reported by 8newsnow.com. For anyone traveling near the North Las Vegas corridor Monday night, that meant rerouting away from one of the region's busiest north-south arteries during the closure.
Coverage of the crash from KTNV echoed the same timeline and closure details, underscoring just how disruptive the incident was to overnight travel along I-15.

As of the latest reporting, no immediate details on the crash had been provided, per fox5vegas.com's account of the incident. It remains unclear what led to the collision or how many vehicles were involved, and both outlets described the story as still developing in the hours after the crash.
