A young fan named Brooklyn spent her Halloween dressed as Dwayne Johnson's old Hollywood Rock persona, complete with wrestling tights, a fake muscle bodysuit and a hand-recreated version of his Samoan tattoo. She didn't walk away with first place in her costume competition. But the costume still found its way in front of the one person who mattered most, and he had something far bigger than a trophy in mind.

The getup, which Brooklyn's mother Michele Keppler helped put together, recreated Hollywood Rock's entire look down to the details, according to ewrestlingnews.com. Keppler originally posted a video of the costume, and Johnson later shared it himself on Instagram, the outlet reports. Despite all that effort, Brooklyn didn't take home the top prize in her Halloween competition, per the same account.

The Rock Steps In With a Bigger Prize

Johnson didn't let the loss stand. In comments shared on Instagram and relayed by Ringside News, he told Brooklyn he considered her the real winner: “to me, you won 1st place 🥇 and your prize is this…” He then revealed what that prize would be — a trip to Hollywood as his personal guest.

“I’m flying you and your family out to California, so you can be my special guests at our red carpet WORLD PREMIERE OF ‘JUMANJI: OPEN WORLD’ in Hollywood this December,” Johnson wrote, according to the ewrestlingnews.com report. He added that his team would reach out directly to arrange things, saying, “I’ll have my team connect with your mom @michelekeppler this week!”

A Dad of Three Finds a Kindred Spirit

Johnson's message leaned personal as much as generous. He noted that he's a father of three daughters, including one who is also 10 years old, writing, “I’m a proud 3x girl dad and I have an awesome 10yr old just like you,” the same report notes. He also said he couldn't wait to meet Brooklyn and her family and watch them enjoy the film together.

What Jumanji: Open World Brings to the Big Screen

The premiere Brooklyn and her family are now set to attend celebrates Jumanji: Open World, which arrives in theaters on Dec. 25, according to UPI. The film is billed as the final installment in the Jumanji trilogy, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter. UPI further describes it as the fifth and final film in the broader Jumanji franchise, serving as a sequel to 2019's Jumanji: The Next Level.

For a girl who spent her Halloween turning herself into Hollywood Rock, a seat at that premiere in December is a fitting reward. Whatever the judges decided at her local costume contest, Johnson made clear whose opinion counted most to him.
