Greenwood police are asking the public for help identifying a woman accused of repeatedly shoplifting from a local Ulta store, with the stolen merchandise now totaling more than $2,000. Investigators posted her picture on Facebook in hopes that someone recognizes her, and they're urging anyone with information to come forward.
According to Fox Carolina, the Greenwood Police Department is searching for a suspect connected to a string of thefts from the beauty retailer. Police say she's suspected in multiple shoplifting incidents that together resulted in the theft of over $2,000 worth of merchandise, according to the same report. As WYFF also reported, Greenwood police identified the woman as a suspect in multiple shoplifting incidents at the local business and posted her photo to Facebook in an effort to identify her.

Anyone with information on the woman's identity or whereabouts is asked to contact Greenwood police, per Fox Carolina's report. No arrest or charges have been reported in connection with the case so far, and police have not released details on exactly when the thefts took place or which Greenwood store location was targeted.
This isn't an isolated problem for Ulta stores in the region. A prior WYFF report noted that a string of similar thefts have taken place this year across the Upstate, pointing to a broader pattern hitting the beauty retailer's South Carolina locations.
Similar Thefts Reported Elsewhere in the State
In Greenville, police said a man and woman were wanted after stealing $3,000 worth of items from the Ulta store at 1125 Woodruff Road, according to the same WYFF report. That case remains separate from the Greenwood investigation, but it underscores how frequently the chain has been targeted this year.
Further south in Lexington, police say three suspects worked together to steal more than $1,695 in merchandise from an Ulta Beauty store on Sunset Boulevard, according to WJCL. That incident happened on September 26, and police said the suspects were seen leaving the parking lot in a white SUV, per the same report. Ulta theft incidents were reported in Lexington, Greenville and Greenwood.
