A 17-year-old Kapaʻa girl has not been seen in roughly two weeks, and Kauaʻi police are now asking the public to help track her down. Talula Kuzemka was last seen the evening of October 23 at her residence on Hauʻaala Road, according to authorities, and she has not been located since.
The request for help came in a post from the County of Kaua'i on Facebook, which identified Kuzemka as a 17-year-old reported missing from Kapaʻa. The post describes her as 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing approximately 116 pounds, with light brown hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information on Kuzemka's whereabouts is asked to contact KPD Dispatch at (808) 241-1711. Tips can also be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers Kauaʻi at (808) 246-8300, through crimestopperskauai.org, or via the Crime Stoppers Kauaʻi P3 Tips mobile app, per the same Facebook post.
What Police Have Confirmed So Far
Beyond the description and the date and location where Kuzemka was last seen, Kauaʻi authorities have not released additional details about the circumstances surrounding her disappearance. The county's police department maintains a standing page dedicated to missing-persons cases, noting that community involvement plays a vital role in locating people who have been reported missing, according to kauai.gov.
Kuzemka's case is not the only missing-teen alert Kauaʻi has issued this year. Back in May, police sought help finding 17-year-old Zoee Fabiana, who had last been seen at Līhuʻe Airport and was described as 5 feet 5 inches tall, about 106 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes, the outlet kauainownews.com reported at the time. That search ended days later when Fabiana was located and found to be in good health, per the same report, which had also directed tipsters to KPD Dispatch and Crime Stoppers Kauaʻi.
No Word Yet on Kuzemka's Status
It remains unclear whether Kuzemka has since been found or what led to her disappearance from her Hauʻaala Road home. As of the county's latest public appeal, no update on her status had been shared beyond the original request for the community's help.
