A 41-year-old janitor who worked at a Kingman-area school has been arrested on 18 felony counts after authorities say he spent months trading vape pens and alcohol to teenage girls in exchange for nude photos. Pierce Anthony Eller was taken into custody Wednesday at the school where he worked, and investigators say he admitted his involvement on the spot.
According to the Arizona Daily Star, the Mohave County Sheriff's Office said the scheme began in February, when Eller allegedly solicited a female juvenile described as a family friend, offering her a vape in exchange for nude photos. Deputies said there were ultimately 10 separate exchanges between Eller and that first girl, according to azfamily.com.
Investigators say the girl eventually told friends what was happening, and those friends then reached out to Eller themselves on social media. From there, authorities allege, the scope of the case widened considerably: Eller gave vape pens and alcohol to three additional girls, ages 14 to 16, in return for nude photos of them, per the same account.
Arrested At His Own Job Site
Mohave County sheriff's deputies caught up with Eller on Wednesday at the Kingman-area school where he worked as a janitor through a private contractor. The sheriff's office said Eller admitted his involvement in the case right there at his job location, and investigators later found additional evidence on his cellphone, the station notes.
Sheriff's officials were careful to clarify one point: none of the four alleged victims were students at the school where Eller worked, according to azfamily.com. FOX 10 Phoenix reported that all three of the additional girls were between 14 and 16 years old.
Eighteen Felony Counts
Eller was booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility on suspicion of 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, four counts of luring a minor, and four counts of commercial exploitation of a minor, according to KMVT. The Mohave County Sheriff's Office reported the arrest and booking on its Facebook account, and jail records showed Eller still in custody as of the morning of Friday, November 6, 2026.
Under Arizona law, a person commits luring a minor for sexual exploitation by offering or soliciting sexual conduct with another person while knowing or having reason to know that person is a minor, according to the text of Arizona Revised Statutes § 13-3554 published by the Arizona Legislature.
A Second Arrest Tied To Shared Photos
KMVT also reported that investigators found digital evidence showing the photos were being shared with a Kingman Unified School District teacher, identified as 57-year-old Ronald Wayne Bowman, who the station said faces nine counts of sexual exploitation of a minor. The exact nature of the connection between Eller's case and Bowman's charges was not detailed beyond that shared evidence.
