Golf Tournament's Regional Ripple Effects
The inaugural Jefferson Lehigh Valley Classic, a PGA TOUR Champions event, was scheduled for September 28 through October 4, and organizers estimated the globally televised tournament could infuse $50 million into the local economy, according to the Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation. Proceeds from the event were earmarked to benefit Valley Youth House and the Eagles Autism Foundation.
Echoes of Last Year's Gathering
