Bill Wardlow was sweeping up outside his Walker’s Point bar after Halloween when he found an engagement ring. Now the owner of Fluid Milwaukee is hoping to find whoever it belongs to.
Wardlow said the ring turned up in front of Fluid and the neighboring bar La Cage, according to WISN. Fluid sits at 819 S. 2nd St. and is known as a gay bar in the neighborhood, per Urban Milwaukee.
A Name Engraved Inside Offers a Clue
The ring itself carries a built-in way to confirm ownership. It has a name engraved inside beginning with “Mrs.,” the station's report notes, and whoever believes the ring is theirs can identify it by providing that engraved last name.
Wardlow is also asking anyone who was out in Walker’s Point on Halloween night to share any information that might help track down the ring’s rightful owner. He is seeking someone who can match the name engraved inside.
