Four people are facing charges after Milwaukee police recovered nine guns, a quantity of drugs and more than $10,000 in cash. The arrests mark the latest in a string of weapons-and-narcotics busts across the city this year.
The arrests were reported by CBS58, which said police recovered the nine firearms, the drugs and the cash in connection with the operation. The outlet did not detail where in the city the seizure took place or specify the charges the four now face.
A separate search-result snippet from wearegreenbay.com referenced a Milwaukee drug bust involving almost $30,000 in cash, multiple weapons and drugs, attributed to a social media post. That figure is far higher than the sum reported in the CBS58 account, and it remains unclear whether the two reports describe the same operation or two distinct incidents.
A Pattern of Gun-and-Drug Busts Across the City
This is not the first time Milwaukee police have turned up a large weapons cache alongside narcotics this year. In February, officers executed a search warrant for drugs around 2 p.m. on a Monday near West Burleigh and North 27th streets, according to WISN. That search turned up multiple firearms and suspected illegal narcotics, and officers arrested three men, ages 53, 45 and 39.
A larger, multi-site investigation announced in January 2025 led to even bigger numbers. Authorities announced the arrest of 14 individuals for participating in drug trafficking across the greater Milwaukee area, while a 60-count criminal complaint ultimately charged 19 people, according to a press release carried by Urban Milwaukee. Searches conducted in Milwaukee, Wauwatosa, Cudahy and Brown Deer as part of that investigation recovered roughly one kilo of cocaine, multiple ounces of fentanyl and a dozen firearms.
Chases That Ended With Guns on the Pavement
Not every Milwaukee-area firearms recovery has started with a search warrant. In a West Allis incident, a traffic stop escalated into a chase that ended with a crash in the American Family Field parking lot, and four men were taken into custody, CBS58 reported. Police said four firearms were thrown from the vehicle during the pursuit, while an additional five guns and drugs were found inside once it came to a stop.
Another pursuit, this one on a Tuesday, March 18, ended near 36th Street and Hampton after the subject fled on foot, according to fox6now.com. A 32-year-old man was arrested, and the outlet reported that drugs and guns were recovered following the incident.
Taken together, the reports show Milwaukee police repeatedly turning up firearms alongside narcotics in operations of varying scale, from single search warrants to multi-city task force sweeps. The CBS58 report on the four newest arrests did not include additional detail on the suspects’ identities, the specific charges filed or the exact location of the seizure, leaving several basics about the case still unconfirmed.
