Nate Bargatze fans in Fort Worth are about to see their city on Netflix. The comedian's fourth stand-up special for the streamer, titled Good for Nathan, premieres Nov. 24, capping months of anticipation since the show was filmed in Fort Worth over two performances in June.

Bargatze filmed the special in Fort Worth with director Ryan Polito, according to Variety. The taping took place over two shows at Dickies Arena on June 6, with performances at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m., both captured for the special, as the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

The 3 p.m. show kicked things off about 30 minutes behind schedule, according to Fort Worth Business Press. That early delay set the tone for a night that would prove more eventful outside the arena than fans might have expected.

Traffic Jam Snarls Exit From Matinee Show

As attendees tried to leave the 3 p.m. taping, a traffic jam developed at the arena, and the start of the 7 p.m. show had to be pushed back to allow ticketed guests enough time to arrive. People who attended the matinee reportedly waited as long as two hours just to get out of the parking garage, based on social media posts described in the same Star-Telegram report.

Arena spokesperson Whitney Blake said the delays stemmed from the first show running longer than anticipated combined with heavy thunderstorms that complicated an already tight turnaround between performances. Blake said arena staff coordinated with local law enforcement to manage guest traffic amid the longer show, the storms, and the compressed timeframe. The venue said it was evaluating the event and would continue looking for ways to improve parking and traffic logistics for future shows.

Same Set, Different Stage

Bargatze wasn't debuting brand-new material in Fort Worth. He performed the same set earlier in the year as part of the Netflix Is a Joke Festival, which took place in May in Los Angeles, per the same Variety report. The Fort Worth dates marked the formal taping that will air as his fourth special for the streamer.

With Good for Nathan arriving Nov. 24, Fort Worth gets a notable credit line in Bargatze's growing Netflix catalog — even if the night it was filmed is remembered by some locally for what happened in the parking garage as much as what happened on stage.
