The Nazareth Downtown Business Association, formed to encourage cooperative promotion and visits to downtown, hosted a Gilmore Girls-themed event in the borough on Nov. 7, 2026. WFMZ reported that more than 50 participants took part, including local businesses, community organizations, vendors and food trucks. The association’s broader aim is described in WFMZ’s event coverage.
Downtown priorities beyond events
Nazareth Borough’s zoning ordinance lists improving the centrality and compactness of the central business district among its community-development objectives, according to the borough zoning ordinance.
A returning theme, without a confirmed annual schedule
WFMZ’s 2025 report also described a Stars Hollow-themed gathering in Nazareth the previous November. That earlier coverage documents a similar event, but does not establish that the celebration is held annually.
Activities and local business participation
The event’s program included trivia, a dance-a-thon and a character look-alike contest, as well as live entertainment and guitarists strolling downtown. WFMZ also reported that some participating businesses offered Gilmore Girls-inspired merchandise and food or drinks. These details are from the station’s event coverage.
A different scale in Michigan
Nazareth’s business-led gathering differed from Brighton, Michigan’s Destination Stars Hollow, which MLive reported was scheduled for Sept. 26 and 27. General admission there was free, while tickets for actor meet-and-greets, coffee dates and forums ranged from $75 to $350, according to the outlet.
