Formula 1 is coming back to Las Vegas, and you don't need a grandstand ticket to get in on it. The Formula 1 Heineken Las Vegas Grand Prix runs Nov. 19-21, but the Strip is already gearing up for weeks of free fan zones, simulators, pop-ups and watch parties that stretch well beyond race weekend itself.
While the race takes place over three days, the festivities begin nearly two weeks earlier, according to KLAS 8 News Now. The station reports that the F1 HUB at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas kicks off Nov. 7 and runs through Nov. 29, giving visitors more than three weeks to soak in Grand Prix energy without setting foot near a grandstand.
A Free Pit Lane Experience on Bellagio Drive
Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team is bringing its fan hub to Bellagio Drive from Nov. 18-21, and it's free to enter. The team says the setup includes a pit-stop challenge on a real F1 car with real F1 mechanics, plus live links to the track and Grand Prix session watch-alongs, according to Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team.
For fans without a race ticket, that hub doubles as a viewing option. The station's report notes the hub will offer live connections to the track and session watch-alongs, giving fans another way to follow the action without buying their way into the stands.
Formula 1's Own Free Fan Experience Returns After the Race
Formula 1 itself is staging its first-ever free daytime Fan Experience across Nov. 22-23, after the checkered flag has already flown. Per Formula 1, the event takes place on Las Vegas Boulevard across from Wynn Las Vegas and will feature F1 and F1 Academy team appearances, live entertainment and local food trucks.
Tickets to that Fan Experience are free but limited by capacity — Formula 1 says fans can secure them online beginning at 10 a.m. PT on the announcement day on a first-come, first-served basis.
MGM Properties Line Up Their Own Race-Week Attractions
MGM Resorts is folding four of its Strip properties into race week programming. Bellagio, ARIA, The Cosmopolitan and Park MGM will offer a variety of race-week experiences from Nov. 16-22, according to MGM Resorts International.
At The Cosmopolitan, fans can get up close to an official TGR Haas F1 Team race car and exclusive memorabilia during a weeklong display running Nov. 16-22, with a limited-capacity meet-and-greet set for Nov. 18, the company says. Over at ARIA, an interactive Auction by Google Play experience is complimentary and open to the public noon to 8 p.m. on Nov. 18 and Nov. 19, then noon to 5 p.m. on Nov. 20, culminating in a live auction that Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m.
Not every MGM offering is free to all comers, though. The Cosmopolitan's Boulevard Pool viewing party, scheduled for Nov. 20-21, is only accessible to hotel guests who book the property's two-night Boulevard Party Deck room package — a reminder that race week perks come with a mix of open-door and reservation-only access.
No Grandstand Seat Needed to Join the Action
Between the simulators, the celebrity appearances and the pop-up culinary experiences lining the Strip, Grand Prix visitors have plenty of ways to feel part of the spectacle without a grandstand seat. It echoes what race-week guides have described in years past: free zones and watch parties that let fans tap into F1 energy without touching a ticket window.
In 2025, for instance, GPDestinations.com reported that Williams' Las Vegas Grand Prix Fan Zone at Brooklyn Bridge was free to enter and open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. during race week, part of a broader slate of watch parties near the Strip that didn't require a ticket. A guide from Visit Las Vegas that same year also pointed fans toward free, nightly live entertainment at the Fremont Street Experience and noted that F1 Arcade Las Vegas features 87 full-motion simulators for anyone craving a taste of the cockpit without the horsepower.
Whether this year's free offerings match that scale remains to be seen once race week actually arrives, but the lineup announced so far gives Las Vegas visitors — ticket or no ticket — plenty of reasons to wander the Strip in the weeks surrounding Nov. 19-21.
