Old Town La Quinta is swapping its usual Sunday routine for a dose of Stars Hollow nostalgia next Sunday, when the neighborhood's farmers market goes full Gilmore Girls. Shoppers can expect the regular lineup of local produce and flowers alongside vendors selling goods inspired by the beloved early-2000s TV series.
What's On Sale at the Themed Market
The event will feature a variety of locally grown flowers, fruits, eggs and vegetables, along with gourmet foods and unique artisan goods, according to NBC Palm Springs. Some vendors will also offer items inspired by the popular early-2000s television series, giving fans of Lorelai and Rory Gilmore a reason to wander the stalls a little longer than usual.
The themed market runs from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Old Town La Quinta, the station reports, the same hours the market typically keeps. Beyond the Gilmore Girls touches, shoppers will be able to do their usual weekend shopping while soaking in the themed atmosphere built around the stalls.
A Regular Fixture in Old Town
The gathering is part of the Certified Farmers' Market that sets up in Old Town La Quinta every Sunday from October through May, running from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., per the market's own listing. That same listing places the market at 78100 Main St in La Quinta, the address shoppers will want for next Sunday's themed edition.
