The National Weather Service in Little Rock expects light east-northeast winds Sunday, generally no more than 5 mph. Sunday night stays cloudy, with a 30% chance of rain showers after midnight and a low near 61 degrees.
Monday remains warm, with a high near 78 and a 30% chance of a morning shower. Southeast winds will increase to 5 to 15 mph, with gusts up to 25 mph, while another round of showers becomes possible after midnight Monday night.
Tuesday Is The Week’s Main Weather Test
The main weather shift arrives Tuesday, when showers and thunderstorms are expected across Little Rock with a 100% chance of precipitation. Temperatures should reach about 75 degrees, with south winds of 10 to 15 mph and gusts up to 25 mph.
The forecast discussion says an inch or two of rain is possible in spots, with locally heavier totals not ruled out. A few stronger storms also cannot be excluded, and gusty winds are the primary concern; no watches, warnings or advisories are currently posted.
Compared with Hoodline’s earlier outlook, the timing of the wetter pattern is now clearer: mostly dry conditions hold through Monday before the more active system moves in Monday night and Tuesday.

Precipitation chances remain in the region Wednesday through Wednesday night. Temperatures should reach a high near 72 degrees, with overnight temperatures falling to around 48 degrees, setting up a cooler stretch.
Thursday stays mostly sunny with a high near 73 and only a slight chance of showers after noon. Friday and Saturday look drier and comfortable, with sunny or mostly sunny skies and highs near 71 degrees.
