Pittsburgh is waking to cloudy skies and temperatures in the low 40s Saturday, with a damp and breezy afternoon ahead. Rain showers could pop up between noon and 5 p.m. as temperatures struggle to get out of the 40s, making outdoor plans a bit of a gamble.
Saturday Showers Arrive After Noon
The latest National Weather Service forecast calls for scattered showers Saturday, with northwest winds and gusts up to 30 knots. Skies should remain mostly cloudy tonight as temperatures fall to around 38 degrees.
Sunday brings a cleaner forecast but not exactly calm conditions. Pittsburgh should see sunny skies and a high near 58, while westerly flow could bring potentially gusty conditions, especially in more exposed areas.
Sunny Rebound Peaks Tuesday
The early-week outlook improves quickly, with mostly sunny skies and highs near 58 on Monday. Tuesday looks like the warmest day of the stretch, reaching about 65 degrees under sunny skies before Veterans Day settles near 61 and remains mostly sunny.
Rain Returns Thursday With A Chilly Finish
The next unsettled stretch arrives Thursday, when a 40% chance of rain accompanies mostly cloudy skies and a high near 55. Friday temperatures ease to about 48, followed by a chance of rain Friday night with the low near 35 degrees.
The sharper turn from Saturday showers to Tuesday sunshine is a meaningful update from Hoodline's earlier Pittsburgh forecast. For now, Sunday through Wednesday offers the better window for walks, errands and outdoor plans, while Thursday and Friday look more like jacket-and-umbrella territory.
