Tampa is heading into a soggy first Sunday of November, with showers and thunderstorms expected from early morning through the evening and a high near 82 degrees. The rain chance rises into the afternoon, when gusty east-northeast winds could make outdoor plans feel less than festive.
Spotty conditions and isolated showers are possible through Sunday morning, then coverage is expected to build through the day. The National Weather Service puts the daytime rain chance near 60%, with a quarter- to half-inch of rain possible and wind gusts reaching 21 mph.
Sunday Night Keeps The Umbrella Busy
Showers and thunderstorms are expected to linger Sunday night, with a 50% chance of rain. Skies will remain mostly cloudy, and temperatures should settle near 70 degrees, with occasional heavy downpours possible.
Monday And Tuesday Stay Warm And Unsettled
Monday brings scattered showers and thunderstorms with a high near 81, followed by another stormy day Tuesday and a warmer high near 84. The unsettled pattern continues into the start of the week.
Sunshine Returns Later In The Week
Storm chances ease to 30% Wednesday, then drop sharply Thursday and Friday as mostly sunny skies take over. Highs should remain in the low to mid-80s through Thursday, with overnight lows falling into the upper 50s to mid-60s by Saturday morning and Saturday’s high near 81.
No watches or warnings are in effect for the Tampa forecast area Sunday morning. Lightning, sudden downpours and gusty winds are possible, so monitor conditions for outdoor events and weekend travel, especially Sunday afternoon through Monday night.
