West Allis’ Christkindlmarkt is scheduled for Dec. 4 and 5 at the West Allis Farmers Market, 6501 W. National Ave. The City of West Allis says more than 80 vendors will participate. Hours are Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from noon to 4 p.m.
The market returns to a venue that also holds a regular seasonal market: according to the West Allis Farmers Market events page, its regular season runs from the first Saturday in May through the Saturday after Thanksgiving, with weekly hours on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The Christkindlmarkt is a separately scheduled December event.
A separate calendar of local-business events
West Allis also promotes local businesses through events distinct from the holiday market. West Allis Downtown lists its Shop Small campaign for Nov. 1–28, 2026, encouraging shopping at locally owned businesses before the holiday season. Spectrum News 1 reported that a separate West Allis Downtown Winter Week begins Jan. 18, 2026, and includes a Soup Crawl for West Allis restaurants. Those initiatives have different dates and formats from Christkindlmarkt.
For Christkindlmarkt visitors, the event is scheduled for two days at the Farmers Market, with more than 80 vendors expected.
