A 14-year-old boy has been missing from Wethersfield since Thursday, and police are now asking the public for help finding him. Family members reported that Mason Dagon walked away from his home on October 29, and he has not been seen since.
Dagon is described as a white male standing 6 feet tall and weighing 130 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes, according to WFSB. Wethersfield police are seeking the public's help in locating the teenager, the station reported.
What We Know So Far
Beyond the circumstances of his disappearance, details remain scarce. The station's report notes that no further information had been released as of Sunday. It is not clear what, if anything, prompted Dagon to leave home, and no additional description of his clothing or last known location has been made public.
Anyone with information about Dagon's whereabouts is asked to call Wethersfield police at 860-721-2900.
A Recent Pattern of Missing-Person Alerts in Wethersfield
This is not the only missing-person case to emerge from Wethersfield in recent memory. A Silver Alert was previously issued for 5-year-old Carmena Joseph, who had been reported missing and may have been traveling with her mother, Lakeva Joseph, according to NBC Connecticut. Police later canceled that alert on a Tuesday morning, though the outlet noted it remained unclear where the girl was found.
No such update has been issued in Dagon's case. Hoodline will share additional details on his whereabouts as they become available.
