A barbecue personality with a massive online following is getting his first real address in Las Vegas. AB's BBQ Fusion is expected to open at 3318 E. Flamingo Road, Suite 4D, with plans to debut before the end of 2026, bringing slow-smoked meats and Southern soul food to a storefront in East Las Vegas.
The restaurant is tied to Aaron “AB” Brown, the chef and content creator behind Smokin' and Grillin' with AB, according to WhatNow, which reports Brown is listed on the Clark County permit for the location. The spot sits in the Renaissance III shopping center, near the northwest corner of East Flamingo Road and South Pecos Road, and its opening is currently listed as coming soon on the business's website and social media. WhatNow Las Vegas reported it reached out to Brown for comment but had not heard back by the time of publication.
From Family Kitchen to Food Truck
AB's BBQ Fusion is an extension of the Smokin' and Grillin' with AB platform, which Brown launched in 2017. On his website, Brown traces his cooking roots back generations, saying his approach “began with family—my great-grandmother's love for feeding people, my grandmother and mother's presence in the kitchen, and my grandfather's foundation in barbecue,” according to smokinandgrillinwitab.com. Brown grew up in South Los Angeles, per WhatNow, before eventually turning his digital recipes into a physical food truck and trailer concept in the Las Vegas Valley.
That mobile operation has served slow-smoked meats, double smash burgers, hot link-loaded sandwiches, fried catfish, and Southern sides, including appearances at the Roadhouse Casino parking lot at 2100 N. Boulder Highway in Henderson, per the WhatNow report. Separately, an Uber Eats listing places a Smokin And Grillin With AB storefront at that same Henderson address, though the listing notes all items are currently out of stock there, according to ubereats.com. That notice alone does not establish whether the Henderson location is still operating.
A Following Built Before the Restaurant
Brown's reach online dwarfs most local restaurant launches. His website states he has more than 3.7 million YouTube subscribers and 2.1 million Facebook followers, built around content focused on Southern soul food, barbecue, Cajun dishes, and cast-iron cooking, the site notes. Brown says the channel itself came together fast: after being challenged to create it, he says, “I launched my channel and posted my first video within three weeks.”
The brand's website states that Brown is bringing those flavors to AB's BBQ Fusion in Las Vegas, describing a menu built around bold barbecue and Southern soul food that blends slow-smoked meats, Southern comfort dishes, and Cajun and Creole flavors. Brown has said Southern hospitality will be central to how the restaurant welcomes guests, a theme that echoes the family cooking traditions he credits for his start.
For now, the exact opening date and hours remain unannounced, with the business's own channels still marking the East Las Vegas restaurant as coming soon.
